About me
I’m Megan Covey, a 7th-grade math teacher at Slater Middle School, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching for the past five years. I love helping students tackle the challenges of math because it’s a great way to show that not everything in life is easy—and that’s okay. Together, we can work through those tough moments and come out stronger. I believe every student is capable of learning difficult things, and I strive to create a classroom community where we support and encourage one another. Slater feels like home to me, and I’m so proud to be part of this amazing school, its incredible students, and our hardworking team of teachers.
